Spearfish Socks done!

Boy, are these fraternal twins. I did not notice until I started the second skein. They may not be the same dye lots, but I choose to ignore that. They sure didn't come out the same.

The yarn is Socks that Rock in Rock Candy. I did them on Inox 2.5mm 40 inch circs, using the Magic Loop. I had to write out another version of the pattern for that method. I enjoyed knitting this pattern, though I seemed to have a mental block and couldn't memorize the pattern! Paula

Striped socks

I finally finished the second sock of my son's:

Striped Toe-up Socks

I used Cascade Fixation and made up the pattern (toe up) as I knitted.

Mini Socks

I was given a bag of leftover sock yarns when in Toledo, Ohio last fall and this is what I choose to do with the lil bits. Some leftover Opal tiger, LL's and the rest I don't recognize. Am heading down to NwRSA annual spinners conference and will be giving these guys away, have 8 1/2 pair done and hope to do a couple more before I leave. Socks are complete with heel turning and kitchnered toe.

Pair # 5

Pair # 5 Opal's ... here and gone! Gave them to my mother yesterday for Mother's Day. Opal sock yarn is great. I used size 2 dpn's and the Regia Basic Sock Pattern. I wanted to keep these in the WORST way :-)

3x2 rib socks...

Meant to post this earlier, but alas, it's been a hectic couple of weeks.

I finished my first pair of socks. I used Lorna's Laces Shepard Sock in Aslan with size 1 Pony Pearl needles. They fit fantastically! :)

Cascading Leaves Socks

I finished this pair for my mom. The pattern is from TownsendSocksKnitALong. I have made a couple of changes to the pattern (detailed in my blog post) and I am happy with the end result. The yarn used is Elann's Esprit Print.
