My very first pair of socks!

Yay! i'm so proud of how they are progressing. For some reason I'm not content until I can pack as many new elements into something as possible, so to that end I'm knitting these socks toe-up on circular needles and both at the same time. It's been quite fun trying to figure out how to do this.

So here's a pic!

I'll post a finished picture when they're done. I just have to figure out how to turn a heel backwards!

Here are your instructions for a toe-up backwards heel http://www.socknitters.com/toe-up/index.htm

that is, if you don't want to do a short-row heel, and example of which is here:
http://www.wiseneedle.com/knitpatksox.asp. A short-row heel is MUCH easier for a toe-up sock, but some people feel they aren't as durable.
